Phenomenal Women
Phenomenal Women serves HIV positive African American Women ages of 18 - 60 by providing comprehensive behavioral health services. It empowers them with health education and risk reduction knowledge, using the SISTA curriculum. This is aimed at increasing their awareness of HIV infection and reducing high-risk behaviors related to the transmission of HIV. The program makes referrals to mental health services if the need arises. Services are provided twice a week at different locations in the form of group and individual counseling.
